Yokomo MR-4TC SD SSG
Hi, I just got a yokomo MR-4TC SD SSG and i am wonder what size pinion to use. The car has a 70T spur and online it said to use a 30T pinion. When i tried using a 30T it seems overgeared and had very little low end punch. RC Car Action tested the car using only a 20T pinion, What should i use? If any one has a MR-4TC SD please help.

hi, i have a SD black and i would say a 30t is abit too high. i am suprised yokomo supplied this pinion as a standard one and not something llike a 25 i find that i can gear it alot lower and still get a good top spee. maybe this is because of the shaft drive?
