Yes it does look a bit like someone shrunk if for height and not length. How did it work?

Izzy has not driven road course in awhile. I think I'd get another Sophie GT for now. As this other body will be out hopefully in December(before the birds). It has to get the okay from EFRA first. This is all I can say- and this came from the horses mouth.

Would this 'mystery body' be the long hyped and much anticipated WGT body from Black Art?

Personally I would love to see the WGT class revamp it's body rules to go the way of the Daytona Prototypes. There are several different makes out there but all have to conform to specific dimensions so making them all within the same dimensions for RC would be easier than the dissimilar cars we currently have...that and the DTP design for 2012 looks much nicer than the current ones. The wing would need to be done either Tamiya style or something along the lines of the Mulsanne and not molded into the body.

No. I have the latest black art that I painted for the iic meet and greet this year. It did not make the show because it is not quite ready.

I don't know anything about Black Art. But I did get my E-mail tonight it looks like in might be pushed back a few weeks.
If you don't have that many bodies to choose from with WGT's then why do you think your going to get more in the Prototypes? It's not going to happen unless you go back to 235mm and use the old molds that have been around for years. And that's not going to happen either.Until the economy turns around your not going to see alot of new bodies coming from the few body makers out there. Since they are only competiting against themselves. In the old days we had many more body manufacturers- not now.

How come nobody uses the old Corvette body that is pictured with the 10r5. I have seen one since Ive been racing for about a year now and I realy like its looks. Is it not as competitive as the Sophie or DB9?

I still have one, it was as competitive as the driver but heavier than the Sophia. I switched to the Parma DB9 and the car handles much better, in fact more than half of our racers are now using the DB9.

I also like the DB9 but it looks like you cant run taller tires with that body?
