I just bought a new BD5 W, and i am using stock shock piston but i would like
try a 2 holes 1.00MM or 1.10MM piston. I have look at the Yokomo website and i cannot find the 2 holes piston.

Does anyone know where should i get the piston? Can i use Tamiya, Xray and
HB?

Last, i have found Rayspeed MR4TC SD piston which look like the BD5W piston. Please advice.

forget about 2-hole

get a 1.1mm drill, drill the holes in the kit piston with that. use 450 oil and forget about it!

Many of the racers I know have been using this chart with success to compare oil viscosity variances between brands. The light blue color indicating "new Xray" has been found to be the same as Muchmore oils. Those using Muchmore oils including myself have been using the CPS ratings from the "new Xray" portion of the chart to make shock oil selections with Muchmore oils. I'm not sure how Yokomo compares to Muchmore or the "new xray" but it should help some of you out there who are more familiar with using Associated or Losi oils rated in the wt. systems to find comparable oils.

Thank you for your message

Our track surface is very high grip which i would like to make the shock stiffer by changing the piston. Currently, i have used associated 60WT shock oil with HPI Red and HPI Gold spring when the track is in a high grip condition.
If our track has no preparation, we will change our set up to 45Wt oil with
Orange and Green yokomo spring.

I thougth if i change the piston from 3 to 2 holes may help to use softer spring and make the car more easier to drive.

I have seen couple set up sheet that they used two holes piston. Does anyone know where can buy the piston?

If you have a better chart please share. This was one of the many charts posted in the xray t3 thread. Many of them were proven to be wrong. This was supposed to be the right one.
