I did the calculations to buy the bit seperate and it isnt worth it. Especially since you get the chassis weights, conversion to the belt to other side and not forgeting a full assembly manual and parts list for the WC.
I use a 3M double sided tape that is grey in colour and is super strong, and the stuff peels off like a rubber strip

win at first race
oh my. had a beautiful start to my little yokomo era by winning the first heavily contested local race here. the car was super in practice where the grip was high, but it was just spectecular in qualifiying and race were it had rained and the sugarwater was gone from the tarmac. since it cooled down from 30°C to about 20°C overnight i took you guys advice and stuck with the yokomo kit springs (pink/blue) and the kit setup with a 450muchmore oil. the car was just planted even in this low grip conditions. next race will have a losts more grip so i have to change the setup a little bit. really looking forward to that.

Just buy the conversion kit, it will give you everything you need except for the front spool. Mine had a reversed one way in it.

will give it a try on our next track, because traction there is usually very high as they sugar-water the whole track every 3 days. however, for now i still think when it is hot, the harder springs easily overheat the 30x vtec tires that we have to use here.
