Just buy the conversion kit, it will give you everything you need except for the front spool. Mine had a reversed one way in it.
I did the calculations to buy the bit seperate and it isnt worth it. Especially since you get the chassis weights, conversion to the belt to other side and not forgeting a full assembly manual and parts list for the WC.

I use a 3M double sided tape that is grey in colour and is super strong, and the stuff peels off like a rubber strip

Default win at first race

oh my. had a beautiful start to my little yokomo era by winning the first heavily contested local race here. the car was super in practice where the grip was high, but it was just spectecular in qualifiying and race were it had rained and the sugarwater was gone from the tarmac. since it cooled down from 30°C to about 20°C overnight i took you guys advice and stuck with the yokomo kit springs (pink/blue) and the kit setup with a 450muchmore oil. the car was just planted even in this low grip conditions. next race will have a losts more grip so i have to change the setup a little bit. really looking forward to that.

cheers

will do that when its hot again and traction is high. but still think that anything harder than hpi silver/silver is not fast enough.

will give it a try on our next track, because traction there is usually very high as they sugar-water the whole track every 3 days. however, for now i still think when it is hot, the harder springs easily overheat the 30x vtec tires that we have to use here.

Also since you use muchmore oil, try 500 or even 550 with the springs i suggested or 1 rate down You wont overheat tyres as easily. My car felt way better with 550 oil compared to 450, even in cooler conditions.

IT FITS!!!!!!

You'll need fatter boneblades though, I'm currently using the tc5 ones and still not fat enough. You need to use the spacer that comes with it on the non drive side.(Left side of the photo)
