A local company- 3 Racing has released a full set of lightweight shaft (all 5). These are very good quality and significantly lighter than the original unit....of course very cheap also....you might want to get in touch with Control Centre to see if they can get you some...it is a very worthy upgrade!!!

SLOW...original total gear ratio of 7.15 with black motor compared to your avg 4.x/5.x ratio that you would run on the RWD tells you everything!!! But it does have potential!!

I was able to get a set on Ebay yesterday for $16.99 from stella models. shipping was only $3.00 from HK. They also had universals, clamping hubs, and graphite stablizer plate. There are still still some available on ebay right now.

looks like a TRF version of F2001 is soon to be released. With all those hop-up released at the hobby show. I wonder how much it will be...~~~~~~

More new options have arrived!!! from Five Star...those into GP will know these are "Big Boys" in the quality department.

Alloy suspension bellcranks running bearings.
Alloy Steering bellcrank.
Delrin pivot ball guides
Delrin lightweight diff outdrivers.

All are excellent quality.....but damn expensive!!

Tobee craft have released lightweight main drive shafts.......but personally I think the 3 Racing set is cheaper AND better quality!!!

I ran mine with a Chameleon last weekend. It was sweet to see it chugging along so fast. Even with my current limiter really cranked down, I still had to be mild on the throttle input. I think I like it better with a stock motor though. Its less prone to spinning that way.
