Xray T2 oo7..which esc/motor combo??

Whats up guys so i got a T2 007 and need to see what you guys recommend for it, since i am all new to this. I want to start racing it on a carpet track and need to keep up wit all the experienced people out there. I hear Novak is good, if anyone can give me some suggestsions i'd aprreciate it! What esc/motor will work...

If your going to go BL I would go with the new tekin RS or RS pro ESC, as the Novak's are good but they are larger in size like the GTB. Myself I still use a Novak GTX in my 007 with a stock motor. You really should spend about a hour or two at your local track and find out what the other guys are using.

Also remember that slower is faster when your just starting out, as you will spend more time driving then waiting for a corner marshal to fix the car after you crashed it due to it being to fast.

You really have to check with your local track to see what kind of
motor they are racing. As far as esc, it's all personal preference.
I like this combo for my T2 007, Trinity 10.5 Duo and Novak GTB
Spread Spectrum with the optional high flow fan for better cooling.
I can race all day long without overheating whatsoever.

You can never go wrong with Tekin. They're high quality, kind advice, great service, and super attention to detail is unmatched. Better yet, they are very affordable and very versatile to what kind of cars you can use the equipment in as well. To make things even better, soldering wires to these speed controllers is so easy, even a half-brained unic retarded chimpanzee in a coma can solder wires onto the ESC nice and neatly and walk away as if they had been doing soldering for years. :D

Just ask Mikky32. He has a lot of great things to tell you about Tekin. ;)

I personally like the LRPtc.... simple to use and it performs the best with out any programing device.....

For motors I only run Novaks since they seems to perform best with my LRPtc

I've been an out and out fan of Tekin, hence my sponsorship with them.

(IMHO, they didn't come back into the r/c scene again from the 90's if they didn't feel what they had to offer was of racing heritage/quality :) ).

I hope to have the RS Pro, 13.5 sensored and Hotwire in my car very soon if you decide to go for it and need any help setting it up for your track(s). I am collecting it today from the mailing office....

"It does exactly what it says on the tin" as one well known quote says...:tire:

Here is My Xray T2. LRP Sphere Comp 07 w/ Roar Spec 13.5, Spektrum SR3500 Micro RX. (Screw putting the RX ontop of the servo!)

Only reason I didnt shorten the wires, is because I plan to run the ESC in my Mod B4 without altering the wires!
