If you're only going straight, it doesn't matter.

Pick anything. I'd suggest finding a chassis that is very strong, like a TA05.

Or go cheap because you'll be destroying parts when you wreck something that fast; like the Cyclone S.

TA05 with 3racing carbon chassis (to stop flex.)

believe me, I got one (without the carbon because I'm tight)

If you are looking for top end speed then choose a car that will allow a small spur and large pinion. Use plenty of caster for straight line stability and balance the tires.

If you are drag racing then many more variables will need to be considered.

yah, a TA05 would take a 3.5. just make sure you get the aramid belts (blue ones) and that's all really. a carbon chassis might help, but isn't needed.

ill look around but i only realy have tonite to decide as i wont be online much (travaling home)

ill see whish ones have the best gearing options

i typed the xray t2 stats into spreadsheet and took into acount the Cd the drag and made resistance, speed curves, figured out its top speed to be over 113mph taking into acount friction air resistance horse power etc etc

seems like a good result for a quater mile and it breaks the old record by around 20mph

my only concern is my competitor this year recently hit 107mph

ill update after monday after iv spoken to the potential sponsor
