Thanks for the replies. Yeah, I saw that in RCCA too, but they don't have it in sheets. arts-hobby is rather expensive. Trying the other link now.

Thanks,
Josh

Gotta have it by next week, so UK won't work, thanks anyway.

Reason I'm asking is that I ordered a sheet frompenguin last week. The order form never asked for credit card info, it said you had to become pay-pal certified first, so they would send you an email with the steps. Well, it's over a week later, and still no email. I have emailed them twice asking what's going on, no reply. Also called them, nobody there...Left a message though...

KCI (Kinetic Composites Inc.) - http://www.kcinc.com

They used to supply the material for most major manufacturers (and still might, but I've been out of the game for 10 years or so). If he doesn't have what you're looking for, lmk and I may have some other options.

Hope that helps!

This is where I get my Carbon Fiber sheets.. if the sheets are big enough I highly recommend them.. and the price is hard to beat. The finish isn't ultra glossy but it is glossy and is finished on both sides.

Here is a picture of a custom chassis I made compared to a Tc6 chassis. I used 3mm thick and its very strong and stiff.

I saw some stuff at http--dragonplate.com I was going to try, but so dam expensive. I like making my own parts too. I have been using that copperbacked computer board. Its stiff and I just have doubled it up and glued together. Did i mention cheap!!!! Hitech computer stores has it.
