Novak Velociti 7.5R with XBR
 

What do you think, is it a good idea to try a 7.5 with my XBR. dont say it has a 8.5 limit i know, but isnt their a safety margin on these things, only one less wind. I could gear it lower, don't really need the top end of 7.5 but can get one cheap. Just dont want to fry my esc. Anyone tried it?:confused:

I ran a "7-Light" (not a 7.5 - a "7" I made by dewinding a 10.5 by 3.5 turns) with a supersport ESC. With a fan on the ESC it worked fine except during hot weather where even with the fan, the 7L was too much for it. It would thermal after about 5-7 minutes.

I would be concerned about a 7.5R, but you might get a way with a 7.5L.
