The difference in resistance between 16 and 12AWG for the lengths cars use is about 0.15% of your energy with 4 cells.

Don't sweat the smaller guage.

Don't order Associated wire. I tried that last week & even though it says 16ga on the package, it is 14ga wire. I found it at Hobbypeople.net (#131174 Wattage)
