I love Speedworld! The track is awesome and the owner (Billy) and his family are some of the nicest people around. Lots of fast guys race up there. Matt, E.J., Lex, Mo...and a child prodigy named Grant.

Haven't been to Tamiya...but it seems to be an awesome track also.

What's up Mark! How've you been? Are you going to any of the big carpet races ie: snowbirds, trackside, etc...?

I am going to need some carpet practice before I hit the 'big' events. But Snowbirds is looking good. How is the motor/batt biz? Shoot me a PM.

I went to SoCal once. The track was pretty good, lots of traction, but the lane barriers are so small that people were cutting the track and hacking like crazy and the announcers never called anyone one it. Other than that, it was good. Very fast.

CH - Competition Hobbies, Tucson, AZ

Competition Hobbies

Great facility and staff, ultra fast carpet, super fast off-road - still the best part, IT'S ALL INSIDE... building was built as an R/C facility.

It must be nice to have these full service facilities around. I have to drive over an hour away to get any kind of good facility. I love the Tamiya track but it's hard when you only get to run there once a year because you're a Losi guy. What I'd give to have someone open up one of these indoor, multiple track places w/ hobby shop somewhere in San Diego.

have you gone when they had the slime boards they are biger as far as the haking what class where you runing

novice lots of haking

intermiadiat still some haking

sporst man none if in a-main

and some times the race anonsers can be distrated by the leaders or someone talking to him. Iknow how you fill it makes me mad but all you have to do is tell him to call trafic or tell him to call the hacker you can even tell the hacker him self to calm down a bit. just be nice and they'll listen.

But i'll try out speed world and see what is so big about it
