The shaft is a little long too but I took a little out of the dust cover and it fit fine. I planed on running a 2s hard pack that I had from intigey, it will not fit. I have been running a 3s and have not had any problems or seen any wear. I have been using the 30 tooth pinion and all seems fine not hardly getting warm, just a little fast. The car is noisy when it is slow(not cogging maybe diffs?), but real quiet at speed.
Thats! I needed that.
Decided to run the 5700 anyway, I got it working with a 25 pinion. Had to sand away a little of the top deck no harm done. Painted the body about 10 minutes ago. Looking forward to getting her on the track this weekend.
I think its going to be fast.....

Has anyone gotten another body of any sorts for theirs? I love this 240Z body. I know if I keep running it I am going to eventually scuff it up.
Stat,

Thanks for the reply

They look like HPI rims, probobly a satin version of the ones that will come with the 510 kit.

try www.abchobbyusa.com their selection is limited right now but you can e-mail them to see if they have something you dont see. I think the price is kind of stiff. $41 for a shell? Its about $15 to rich for me. Maybe it comes from importing small quantities. Maybe they are just really proud of the product. I love the Celica.

Yeah I was checking out that site not too long ago and DAMN THAT CELICA BODY IS SEXY! I'll probably get an ABC body just for show, replete with light kit even!

Default Abc bodys

the only thing i dont like about the ABC bodys is for the price you would think they would have detail chrome bumpers like the Hpi kit... and not the lexan ones you have to paint (btw anyone know whats best to use to try and make the lexan look chrome???)

And some one answer me this how dose that grille go together on the 510??? i still not have even touched my ABC (bre 510) body cuz its pretty much got me freaked out any one know where to get some instructions in USDM writing not JDM

also back to the rims i seen them on another kit searching google id really like to find out who makes them they look alum. to me

Default Cup Racer - Front camber adjustment

Has anyone figured out how to (easily) adjust the front camber settings?
I contacted HPI and they said that you have to take out the ball end from the upper arm and insert washers to adjust the camber.
It will be difficult to make adjustments while you are on the track with this setup....

Both Spaz-Stix & Alclad make chrome paint for lexan in aerosol. I believe Spaz-Stix makes it in 1oz bottles for your air-brush as well. I've used both and they come out great!

I got my body all cut out last night and I will be painting soon.

I have bought ABC bodies in the past. I would pay the price for them over Tamiya now. You get the headlight buckets as a bonus.

I use the alcad chrome, and I love it. I have heard the Spaz-stix really stinks.(but good product)
