didn't even think of them

time to dig out the pan car - now I just have to hope I have 2 of each spring

My spool is brand new, so it doesn't have any of the 'wear' yet I was thinking about getting out the dremel and making the openings a little bigger

Haven't got that far yet...Keep getting sidetracked Maybe either Wednesday or Friday I'll get power to it

Hey guys, I'm looking for some help. I've got a 10.5 on my cup racer and it keeps spinning out coming out of a turn. I've tried more droop in the front, raising the inner rear camber link, more rear camber, less caster and even layed the rear shock down a hole. It pushes a bit coming in a turn but still washes out going out. I'm guessing it's binding somewhere. Any ideas where?
Or what to look for?

Ryan, more droop in the front will not only transfer more weight to the rear which in theory should help, but it also increases on power steering which can cancel out the the effect you were try to achieve. This sounds like something else. One other thing to check.Tires.Make sure you have no beads that are coming undone or even slightly broken.Bring that thing to Norcal.I will figure it out.

If you are using the kit springs, they won't work with anything faster than a silver can. My car with a 27T stock motor did the same thing as above with the kit springs. Much better once I used the F201 harder springs.

Other tid bits are to make sure the suspension can fall freely with no shocks, and make sure there are no binding from over-tightening the wheel screw.

More rear toe in- 3 deg total. 1 deg front toe. Make sure the rear ride height isn't so low that the chassis is scraping on power. Maybe you are getting a little torque steer on throttle w/ the 10.5? Might have to try a smoother profile on the esc and turn the throttle curve down on the radio.

Maybe different tires- push on entry and loose on power means not enough grip.

ok, i'm going to try something 'simple' because I've had a similar problem in the past and went thru everything to get the car to stop looping

did you try adjusting your rear diff - I mean make it looser?? I know that was what solved my problem - had the diff too damn tight and kept spinning out in turns, not both ways, just one way

hope that helps

For you experts....

If getting spare ABC Genetic parts is not an issue, would it be a better car than the cup racer? Or these two are about equal in design and performance?

Thanks.

Out of the box I would lean towards the Genetic IMHO. Better tires, race inspired and a little cheaper. Once the hop ups come out for the Racer it will balance out but that means more $$. The aftermarket and factory support for the Racer and overall appeal is what makes the Racer a winner tho for most people.
