Sheldons is a local hobby shop to me. They do not have any more mini bodies at least when I checked. They are also slow to update their inventory online and on their ebay store.

That last link looks like a scam site.

They are still available from a UK guy for $58 shipped on eBay but looking to spend $40 or under. I actually picked up a body from the UK guy when he had it listed for around $37 shipped.

Tower Hobbies received a few 7211 Porsche bodies but sold through them pretty quickly. I called HPI and was told that production on the body had ceased with attention placed on later products. They told me that they may do another production run but could not tell me when.

-When did Tower receive them? (I am on their email to be notified when they get them in and never received notice).

-Production is done, so that is it?

In anticipation that ALL the bodies will be sold out eventually and i'll be left w/ no cool bodies for my 2 cup racers, i've bought up 1 of every one I can find. Call me crazy, BUT I figure i'll be able to easily sell them too.

Got a NIB "240z" body from AMain Hobbies for $29.99 and free shipping
Got a NIB "510" body from Tower and a "2002" Body w/ $10 off coupon

And already have a Stratos and Mini Cooper in the bag at home. So I am good, just need to find a Porsche body to complete my set!

Oh, also picked up some Porsche wheels, -as I saw someone was selling a set for $48 on ebay or amazon (don't remember which) ...got mine for $8 (they still have them at Tower).

-suggest you guys get what you can before the other body sets are gone.

I was on Tower's back order email when the Porsche bodies arrived, it was a "We received a few but not enough to advertise, but could fill my order. I declined because I found the last one at TQ Racing's website and with two, would let someone else have a chance to get one.

I just finished building my Cup Racer with Exotek CRX chassis and am a little sad that it's done. The shocks were a challenge especially the small e-clips on the shock shaft. Just a ball bearing size bit of chewing gum holds the clip aligned in place while you clamp down with the pliers to set the first clip, I didn't lose a single clip in the process.

Yes, I had the same difficulty, otherwise the build goes pretty easy. I've built two.

Hey check this out,
what gives?
http://www.amazon.com/HPI-Wheels-0mm...=hpi+cup+racer

$48 ??? -do a search and a lot of the CR'r product prices are inflated.
There is also datsun 240z body going for $69.

These appear to be shops in Japan with a few items remaining in their store. I've seen a set of the HPI brake rotor kit asking $70.00+ for them sold through Amazon. It usually means an item is in short supply so if you see them price reasonably, buy it!
