has anyone painted up their 240z yet?

I am thinking of a vintage race layout, as the car comes with the BRE wheels.

I am waiting on my new rims and tires. Then I will paint it to match my 71 1:1

Has anyone noticed how much the upper and lower plates flex? Not torsional like you would expect but front to back or rather up/down.

They are fibreglass not graphite so expect more flex.

Someone can correct but the narrownes of them might also allow it to flex easier

A user on Groovydrift posted some pics with regular mini rims. This looks MUCH more realistic.
