I was pleasantly surprised how easy it was to install the front Exotek alloy shaft-drive cup. The Cup Racer is not really that difficult to work on, contrary to some reports I've read.

For anyone who is hesitating to install one, it's a matter of removing about seven screws, popping the front diff assembly out and screwing it on. Hopefully you did not use red loctite on the screw holding in the stock plastic part. (I did not -- use blue). Took me all of a half-hour. Well worth it I think. Now I won't worry when I swap out my 17.5t for a 13.5t on 32t pinion.

i follow the instruction manual to build the car.
its using exotek chassis, exotek front cup, exotek turn buckle
hot racing alu cups.
i m assuming either something wrong with droop or shock.
how much droop and what shock oil do you guys use?

What tire sauce are you using? What's the room temperature? Is it spinning going into the corner or coming out while getting on the gas or both?

I was wondering what wheels are on the Cup Racer in the link below? It's from Exotek's website on there CRX chassis page. Does anyone have a link to where I can purchase them from. They look sweet.

Jack the gripper is really good. I want to say that your 40 tires are the culprit. You know that 40 means they are rated for 40c temperatures? If the track is 25c then the tires can not generate enough traction due to lack of heat build up. You want to find some cool weather tires for sure, something rated at 20-28. The 40's are more suited for outdoor hot asphalt use.
Assuming you have ride height that is not rubbing the carpet and front traction that is not too aggressive (try not saucing the front tires) that just might get you going.

For something really easy try a softer spring in the back helped me out huge. Also make sure you have the correct toe blocks in the rear lower arms.

Looks good, I am going to be trying a Datsun 510 body next. Depending on how that goes the Civic body will be my next option.
