...yeah, I have two Exotek chasis on my Christmas list (one for my 1/18th Associated 18R, and one for my CR'er).

To those that painted your Porsche 911 to match the Martini Racing (Box shot)... What orange paint (spray) did you use? Tamiya has a "orange" but its really a light orange, and a "fluorescent red" that is close but a little too crazy bright.

Thanks

What are your guys opinions in sway bars for the Cup Racer? Are they worth it, or should I put my money towards something else?

Thanks

Also what gearing would you guys recommend for a Brushless 17.5 on 2S Lipo? Obvously it will depend a lot on the track or surface you plan to run on. But am looking for a good starting point.

Thanks

Cool, I'll check out the Exotek stuff, at least the drive cups and maybe save up for the chassis if I'm able to get enough racing in. Also thinking about a Tekin 13.5 Redline and R1 speedo!

hey guys...i just picked up a CR...I am looking for a motor/esc setup. I have a sidewinder 5700 combo just laying around. I am debating on what I should put in it. I don't want to spend the extra money on another motor. Should I try to trade it for something more reasonable or put the sidewinder in a tune in down? Someone help!!!!

Default cup racer

I just bought a cup racer and after reading a ton of threads it looks like the most power to put in them is a 13.5 so thats what I got for it a tekin 13.5 with a novak gtb so it should be allittle crazy just like my 1 to 1 car. Thats what I'm planing on doing is making it a replica of my real datsun 510 which is on the crazy side with a complete cage front to back and I'm putting in a ls1 425 hp motor now which should change things and I plan on driving it on the street and racing at road america. It also now has 17" wheels and alot more. Can't wait should have it done this winter for both of them. I'm getting a fresh body to match the paint sceme on. This is an older pic of my datsun and will get new ones up soon once I get the cup racer painted.

Thanks
