From a recent car show, thought i would share. looks like an E30 m3 could be coming our way.

AndyH- I WANT THAT COROLLA COUPE!!! Make sure i get the first one off the line! I want to make a 1:10th replica of my 1:1 AE86 coupe!

So i picked up a cup racer from a friend. Roller w/ servo and 2 bodies. Here's my problem. I dropped in a spare 19t Gem series from trinity, but can't keep my Hitec HFX ESC from overheating. WTH. I tried changing the gearing, and none of the typical gear charts are of any use. Thoughts? I vary from 1500 sport packs to my 3200/4800 lipo.

Can use bodies from those cars and wheels and tyres too.
Be aware that HPI Cup Racer wheels cannot fit on Tamiya or other brand tyres and visa versa.
Can fit any bodies, included Spice M6 and Accord, isn't it?

What?
It can fit normal wheels, but without any problems in the width?

Anyway, thanks for your reply!

sure - why not?? you can put ANYTHING you want in the car - it boils down to driveability and durability, and honestly, the cup racer wasn't designed for that kind of power..but knock yourself out with that much power

just don't expect the same kind of handling you would have putting that much power into a TC

The E30 is not a mini body, There is a wheel NUT.

Is that a Gen 1 911 turbo in the background? I wond how it would handle with the wide rear end. Will HPI be releasing special offset wheels for that or maybe a new wide tire and wheel combo?

I can't believ HPI would offer another BMW body (Gen1 M3) right after the 2002. If they're gonna be going that way, why not a BMW M1 to take advantage of the CR's laydown front shocks?

I agree, the M3 isn't a Cup Racer body.....The M1 is cool but may be too big for a 1/10 mini size chassis?
