The question is "does it fit LiPo without a shim kit or saddle pack?"

Yeah...I don't have a WGT car yet but I got to drive a Gen-X 10 and WOW was that nice to drive. There are about 4 or 5 guys who are running them at our track and I want to join them sometime this year. We run 21.5/lipo for the most part so I hope the Xray will be setup for lipo. BUT the question for me is what will the price be? Most WGT cars are in the $250-$275 range. Will this be a $350+ dollar car? Don't get me wrong I like Xray, and drive a 008/009 but I will go with CRC if the price is too high.

There goes the neighborhood.LOL

I would hope it fits a regular sized lipo. Time will tell.

Place your bets people. Which design will XRay "borrow" and improve by adding some aluminum parts and writing a 20 page report on why their car is better? Corally/CEFX T-bar perhaps? Maybe lipo-friendly CRC design? Or the Speedmerchant/RC10R5 links?

The over/under on the X10's street price is set at $340......

Nice james....

I think it will be a T-bar car, and street price will be $299.

I thought these cars are suppose to make racing cheaper? The car kits cost a lot closer to the top of the line Sedan kits....

$299 is hardly top of the line pricing is it.

Be interesting to see what it looks like.

Looks like you can see the regular batteries through the window. I wouldn't expect much in the innovation department probably just a bigger x12.

I am just excited to have a full Xray line-up of cars: 808, XT8, 009, XII, and now the X10. Now the question is, should I sell my Gen X while it is still brand new and never been run?
