You guys are obviously overlooking the use of Hudy Spring Steel and Genuine Swiss 7075-T6 aluminum throughout.

How the mighty have fallen... This hobby has rapidly become very cynical about "luxury," and its related expenses.

Think about how outdated it will be in 9 months.

You guys are missing the big picture.. this is just a lay-over until they release the X10 '010 in a few months.

I just thought about something.. the name X10. Tenth Technology vs Xray. It's kinda like Cisco and Apple. Cisco releases the obscure iPhone that nobody really cares about or uses. Apple rips off the name and everyone jumps all over that device like it's the second coming of Christ. I guess the only difference here is that the Apple iPhone doesn't have the same design as a "brick" cell phone from the early 90's.

in my little world handling goes before looks of the car

but i agree that xrays marketing has been a little to much sometimes

What's sad is people are going to act like Xray drones and buy this car then praise it as the best and most "innovative" car there is. Not to mention the team drivers frothing at the mouth at how "innovative" and "luxurious" the car is.

The only thing "optimized" is how hard I am laughing at Xray for stealing something this simple and using super pricey materials to inflate the cost!

Well I am a diehard Xray guy and love the XII, but I understand everyone's frustrations with the lack of innovation. That being said I love my XII and although there is nothing innovative about it, the quality is amazing and the car is as tough as nails. I have put it through some big impacts with a 4.5 and I have had no broken parts after two 3 day race weekends.

That being said I will stick with my Gen X 10, but knowing me I will likely switch just to eliminate stripping of soft aluminum non-metric screws.

Anyone know what the front end spacing is on the x-ray? Is it small metric screws like the new AE or is it the larger 8-32 metric equivalent like the older AE's.

Not sure why I chuckled at that, but I did.
