Sooner or later even the 'regular' aramid belt is going to cost an arm and a leg. Price out a blue belt lately? Sheesh!

My concern of the Tamiya belt is nothing but the fear of the awailability issues...

+1 to that. Funny how we still hold dear to a 16 year old chassis despite what else has come and gone. We're lucky the D-Spec version came out which is sure to give us some semblance of parts availability for the next few years.

this car is old now, not as in i dont have it, i mean its over ten years old,
its killed 2 motors in its history, this is the best ta03f on the planet IMO.

worry not, there's plentiful stock of OE parts out there still

there are alternative RC sources if needs be if ever original T spares run out

even if there wasn't, belt is a std industrial part & nothing custom

hello! just curious , in what way do you mean ta03's are tanks?? because plastic materials use in ta03 is brittle. on a new part (plastic) I drill the screw holes to make it a tad bigger before screwing in a tapping screw, to make a not so tight fit, or else the plastic cracks in time, it's brittle, cant hold the tension of a tight screw. Does anyone encounterd this ? ( plastics on screwed area cracks in time specially the gear case, even if you dont use the car. )

The only brittle part I've noticed are the steering knuckles where the ball end screws go.
