Default TA03 Aftermarket Turnbuckles?

Does anyone know where I can get some aftermarket turnbuckles for my TA03?

I have looked high and low and even asked a few people.

I figured that someone on this thread might know.

any help would be appreciated. Thanks

TC3guypgould....i'm a die hard TA03 owner and driver....i really like a lot of things about that chassis....

i've not driven them in a while cauise it's been raining here a whole ton......

here's a link to my tamiya club showroom...the TA03 chassis are the toyota corolla and peugeot 206 and the two chassis listed under parts further down......there are some rally movies as well under the movies tab.....

as for aftermarket parts.....look on ebay as there are several places you can part for the TA03....

OR...just call up tamiya direct....it's easier and they usually have the parts in stock and new in package...and oddly enough....the retail price is not THAT far off from theebay prices or the prices from places like tower hobbies....so lately i just call up tamiya and get zero hassle about a part not being in stock.....

obviously there are some parts that were discontinued but for the most part they have most anything you might want.....

BUMP for the TA03 thread

Anyone else still out there

After about 2 years of collecting dust, I finally got my TA03R-TRF up and running again and its as sweet as ever. Thinking of treating the old girl to a brushless setup

Hey good to hear it is running. Mine was collecting dust for 6 years. few month ago i took it to track. it was outdated but still fun and easy to drive.
post some pictures if you get brushless system.

I'm also a big fan of the TA03. I bought my first (TA03F Alfa Romeo) for like 40 bucks, it was red tagged at Hobby People. At the TCS race in Aliso Viejo, I bought a TRF edition for like 50 bucks. I built it and ran it at that race. My friend and I even entered it in the Tamiya Enduro one year. If our speed controller didn't continually overheat, we would have been close to the top 5. Very easy car to drive, I like it.

I saw awhile ago that Car Action did a twin motor TA03. I have a front motor and rear motor TA03, maybe I should make one...

It's amazing the fan base the TA03F has. On the website that I'm on, the TA03F is one of the MOST active threads. People still hunt down these kits as well as all the hop up parts. It's incredible how nice some of these guys get their TA03Fs to be. I myself had to see what the hoopla was about and bought myself one. Embarassingly, besides putting on some oil filled tamiya shocks, I haven't done much to it. It's not even fully assembled.

Howielong, the guy who posted up his drift spec TA03F is one of the guys on www.drccentral.com who is a TA03F guru. He actually put together a FAQ jam packed with useful info. Check out the thread if you guys want to see more pics of what people have done to their TA03Fs.

Man, this thread made me go dig out my TAO3 and stare at it a bit.

I'm definitely going to have to snap some pics of the chassis for this thread, but for now, here it is wearing a CLK-GTR body.
