when is the release date?

I would be interested! When does Tamiya plan to release these puppies? I have always wanted one for play. Looks cool too!

You can always find TA03 F and TAO3 R on Ebay almost all the time. They are still pretty easy to get ahold of one.

There are still a few kits floating around locally!!! Let me know if you're planning to run one again, maybe I can run mine with you at the speedzone.

I've been trying to sell my 03 but now that Tamiya is bringing the kit out again, I think I'll keep it instead. Let's try running them against the current cars

Yes I've seeing a few on the for sale thread..

It is a very competitive car back then, I just don't know now... If ever I run againts the latest cars avaialble, I think it's like picking up a rock and bashing it onto my own head..

Hopping it up is just the task I am afraid of..

Just think of the laughs we'll have if you beat some of the newer cars. You've already beat some of the newer/more expensive with your cheaper TA-05, remember?

Anyway, my 03 is still race-ready. I'm just trying to fit in a saddle pack battery tray. If you still have some X-ray T1 saddle pack battery strap, kindly save a pair for me.

TA03F Pro

I just purchased a Tamiya TA03F Pro on Ebay yesterday. What parts do I need to make this somewhat modified or ready for drift action? I really like to heavily modify my kits for my own interest, so if anybody knows all the hop-up parts available, please let me know. Any tips or advise from anybody would be appreciated. Thanks.

Default TA03F Pro

Sorry to ask again, does anybody know where I can get a download of the manual for this kit (Tamiya TA03F Pro)? Any link or web address would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!

hi all....i just found this thread.....lots of interesting stuff....read the whole thing last night....

i post on Tamiya Club but i figured i'd post a link here....

right now i'm using a TA03F-S and a TA03R with some hop ups for off-road rally use.

these are the two threads (way shorter than this one) where i have pics of the mods i made to increase ride height and clearance for proper off-road rally.
================================================== ======
Tread 1...most of the pics ont he first page are broken links but i reposted them on the second page.

http://www.tamiyaclub.com/xforum/top...TOPIC_ID=14839

the first mod to the arms was done with the plastic arms. it ended up making hte chassis too complicated so i added GPM aluminium arms and modified those.
================================================== =====

Thread 2....this is where i modified the aluminium GPM arms further to get more clearance. i also made modifications to the damper stays for strength and a few other small mods here and there.

in this thread there is also a detailed cleaning of a TB01 that had the Long Arm kit added for off-road rally.

http://www.tamiyaclub.com/xforum/top...TOPIC_ID=17707

================================================== =====

and finally, a link to my show room with the pictures of each of the chassis before the final mods. the videos are there too. the TA03R is the one with the Tamiya Escort shell. the TA03F-S is the one with the Tamiya Peugeot 206 shell but painted in my favorite silver color.

http://www.tamiyaclub.com/showroom.asp?id=4143

oh and the Lancer and Celica are the TB01.
================================================== ==

but i have some questions.....

1. what is TAOB? i see that in some of the pictures in this thread....is it a web site or a team?

2. does anyone here know if i can still get arms EXACTLY like these? these would be perfect for off road rally since the damper mount is on the same plane as the lower arm.

as soon as i'm done installing a new ESC in the R i'll post some pics of both of the chassis.

I'm getting one too from my friend, he wants to get rid of it coz he didn't have all the parts required... Sure I'll see if there is one here...
