But how to get it to rally spec first? Like the ride height and stuff like that? And what should the ride height be?
I can block of the dust with wheel wells so less dirt will get in

well how do i know when the ride height is too high to bind the driveshaft?
also by making the ride height higher, do i need longer springs?

When you lift the car off the ground if the car cannot move its wheels without causing the drivetrain to skip as a result of the driveshafts drooping too much (check for steering too) then it's too much. Use buggy front shocks, or use shocks with longer shafts and bodies.

how about one inch off the ground? do you think that would be enough?
still don't really get the drivetrain to skip part.

hi guys, seems most of you are into rally now. i'm also planning to convert my ta-03f pro to a rally car. i'm basically using my hpi pro 2 for racing around parking lots now, hehehehe

hmm.. i guess it's not going to be one inch using the original shocks. it's like 15mm. It's only the front that makes it low but i think 15mm might be high enough?
