the steering linkage is different. MSXX has the newer arckman link, but the old linkage on MSX feels more linear. so I don't have to mess with the expo and arc setting on the radio.

Hi everyone,

Does anyone know the part # for the rear suspension mount that gives you 1.5 degree toe in, surely there must be one for foams on hi grip tracks.

It depends what block you have at the front of your rear wishbones...

At the front its a 1 XB rear a 1 C the only other spare block i have is a D which looks wider again.

Hi Mark,

with XB/C, you have 2.5deg of rear toe-in. You'll need a 1X or a 1A block on the front.
Personally, I would go A/D on the rear end, that will give 1.5deg of rear toe-in.

Which Kimborough or Robinson Racing 48 spur can be used for the 415 instead of the 102T from tamiya?

I have just put a kimborough 72t 48dp spur on my 415msxx, but tbh I think you will be pretty safe using either, they are both rather universal items with lots of different holes for mounting

All I will say is that in 5 years of racing ive not once stripped a kimborough spur gear, and they're all ive ever used

Ran my 415MSXMREDMc for the first time for nearly a year last night at a club meet. Started off in a low class of course, thinking that I would be pretty out of it and behind the 8 ball with the front runners.

In the three races I was in I got first, second, first. And compared to the A class, I was on the same lead lap as them. Even the club president was surprised with the speed of the car.

What parts do I need to finish off a front diff for a trf415 msxx mre with the front ball diff kit (#53921). Is it just the gear? If you can tell me the part # that would be great. Thanks. You guys are great.

you also need the "rear" Pully to complete the assembly. check your manual for part #.

my trf415msx's pully is the old black plastic one, so the part # doesn't match.

I normally run offroad, but have been looking to get into onroad again (I previously had a TT-01D and an AE TC4, but think I want go with a belt drive this time around). I've been looking at the TA05R but have recently come across the opportunity to buy a buddy's spare 415 MSX.

Which would you go with???

The car will be running mainly 13.5, primarily on asphalt, but maybe on carpet too in the near future. I'm not too familiar with the Tamiya touring cars yet, so any input is much appreciated. My main concerns are durability and parts availability/cost, as I still consider myself a bit of a novice when it comes to TC. (However, I've been in the hobby for a long time now, so wrenching on the cars isn't a problem...it's the driving part that I'm still getting the hang of. )

BTW, I'm also considering the Cyclone or Cyclone S, so if you have any insight as to how those compare, please let me know.
