Raul you just got bit$h slapped on that one.....LMAO. Good one Dawgmeat, that's what I'm taking about some friendly smack.
Just a coment on the 415, and this for anyone at Tamiya USA. If your willing to spend the extra money to machine the graphite chassis to allow the motor to sit lower, why not take it one step further and machine the battery slots to avoid have to file them. Just my two cents.

TRF-415 versus XRay Ti-FK
So which one is better? A short while back you (probably) saw the article by MarP27 on his experiences building both cars.
Now he has just spent solid time testing both at the track!
Check it out at www.3hobby.com now!

Koabich: I see your point and it makes sense. But I think that the OEM's account for the larger sized diameter batteries when they cut the grahite.
Its not a big deal, except it would be nice if someone took the time to round the edges for us. It not like the price of kits these days are coming down. It wouldn't take much, just a carbide bit with a 45 degree tapper at the top.

Kit setup actually works pretty good.

hey people
just wondering if anyone has any experience with associated springs as it seems that they are the favoured choice of marc reinhard and surikarn on the various chassis. thanks to the people who responded to my post about foams. i did manage to fit 26mm fast dish premounts to my 415 with lw suspension although i had to use a couple of spacers to get them on. will try it on asphalt at the next local night meeting, hopefully these will work better with the lw susp than my usual sorex 32r's. has anyone else found that the 'box setup' that comes with the lw susp set is really difficult to set up for on the car? i tried it last race and had allot of trouble. it had way too much front camber and rear toe-in. although i am satisfied that the lw susp does give the car what it is missing, just have to find a good setup for asphalt for it. lastly does anyone know what removing the deck support posts on the intermediate decks does to the cars performance? wouldnt it just be easier to swap swaybars to suit?
