Default gear differential for msx

Can you show us the gear diff ? thank you for showing.

I think gear diff will last way longer than ball diff...... but I don't know the handling after using one ?

Default Setup sheets

I have found a site where you can store setup sheets of your TRF415:
rc-setups.com

Before posting you have to sign-up.

there is some space inside rear bulkhead, near the print TAMIYA on the bulkhead.

I still have to use 3M scotch tape to secure the battery in place, so the positive terminal doesn't move hitting bulkhead or belt pulley.

Why don't you fit the battery with the connectors pointing to the front of the car, the top deck shouldn't be in the way of the connector.

I did test that ...... but that way, I have to remove some carbon fibre on upper deck in order to plug in or fit in the banana.

looks nice

my only thought is that theres 150gr of weight "above" the lipo, so it might upset the C of G (but yeah, I know it's gotta go somewhere), but if it feels fine then great, nice one!

Looks like the bevel gear diffs on the TAO4S. Are there bevel gears in that thing?

thanks for doing that asw7576
the handling is very good just have to get the right oil for the track, i tend to use heavy oil for open tracks (1/8 scale) and 4000 for tighter tracks. it pays to have a couple of diffs if you run at a few tracks. NO maintenance (just add oil lol)and serpent are supposed to be bringing out a front gear diff as well.
I wouldn't go back near a ball diff. No shims needed (maybe a 1mm)
