What parts do I need to buy for my MSX to get it to MRE spec as far as centre pulley / drive train goes and also wide pitch Pulleys. Am running a front one way (Would I need to buy an MRE one) and fixed centre.
Also with an MRE chassis, is there anything else bar changing to Evo 5 Steering (and changing top deck) that needs to be done to bring it up to date?

setup for asphalt
i need trf415 msx setup for asphalt. i currently use sorex tire.
nino pohan: The kit setup for the MSX works great for most ashpalt tracks. If you run on a track were the traction is low, then go a little softer. Either go down to 30 weight or drop to a softer spring.
Mi2dude: I believe "the movement" you are talking about can be easily fixed by placing a shim in between the wheel hex and hub carrier. Check out Speedtech for a wide range of different sized shims.

Can someone with a MSXX confirm this for me:
I was reading the PDF file to the MSXX instruction manual, and the bottom plate/deck has extra holes up near the steering ackerman which are not used. From what I can guess, it looks like you can fit the older MS/MSX steering setup on it. Am I right in saying that?

I wouldn't worry too much... Precision are th eguys who I ordered my replacement MRE chassis from last year (after it got nailed against the armco at west london ), arrived in good time, with everything else in the box.
Seems every once in a while an order slips through...

Well it's 540 comp the next two weeks (540-J and Sports Tuned) so it should limp through!
Besides the maintenance issue, are there any other things about the MSX that make it better than the MS? I am running 540, so would upgrading make much of a difference?
