Not really, you're making things worse by increasing weight transfer to the front while coming off power.

If your problem is only off power, then the easy fix is to reduce rear droop.

The race-spec chassis used by Tamiya Racing Factory driver Mark Rheinhard to multiple event wins around the world is now available to the masses. Now, R/C fans worldwide can get a taste of the TRF415MSX Mark Rheinhard Edition's awesome performance at a more affordable price. Utilizing more commonly available parts for increased practicality, this chassis still remains faithful to the features of its more potent sibling and is a perfect addition to the weekend racer's arsenal.

About the Model
High-quality assembly kit chassis based on the TRF415MSX Mark Rheinhard Edition.
Equipped with Front One-Way and Center One-Way Units as standard.
Parts for the air scoop to allow for more efficient cooling are included.
A differently shaped upper deck, a lower deck with a different thickness, and steel screws are some of the features that help reduce costs while maintaining race performance.

It doesn't say if the EVO V steering is on it though

From what I know its the same as MRE except:
One-way (both front & center)
Air scoop
Steel axles
Steel screws
Different shape top deck
New front bumper brace (???)
And of course no MRE branding

I'm done...anyone interested in a 415 MSX Sedan let me know. I have two available one is a 4mm foam tire carpet chassis MSX convert and the other is a rubber tire MSX. Both in exceptional conditions as I hardly race anymore. If interested send an e-mail to [email protected]

Given a first look opportunity to die-hard Tamiya fans before posting pictures and stuff on the 4-sale thread.

Regards
Carl

DON'T DO IT CARL!

I ran great this weekend on carpet...no crazy parts' mods either. Basic setup too.

Otherwise, I got first dibs.

At this point in time i don't think the air scoop is available. It'll probably be available when the MSXX comes out.

Hi guy's
Do any of you guy's have a picture of your MSX with the Cool Can Fan on it. There is no picture on there site with the MSX.
I think Tryhard and Charles use them.
Thanks
Addam

Na, i use the MuchMore Endbell Fan kit. Cheap and extremely effective . I'll try and get a pic up tonight. Here's one on the coolcan website, it's the older MS car , but you get the idea

I'm now using a Tamale mount. I found that the CCF mount can tweak the car a little after a crash, simply because of the mountings.

However the fans supplied with the CCF are the best around, albeit a little expensive.

Thanks Jay.
Using spacers under the front block will decrease the amount weight being transferred, to the front, from the rear - a good thing, in dusty conditions. Reduce the front upper arm spacer to 1mm. Move front camber link to the #3 position. Reduce the front camber to -1mm. Reduce the rear droop 1 - 2mm. Reduce your rear shock oil to 30 wt.. If, your track isn't bumpy, reduce your ride height to 5mm front and rear. If, bumpy, set ride height to 6mm. Using a softer rear tire will definitely help, as long as the set up is right. These changes should lock in the rear end and keep the front end stable.
