Does anyone know if this TAO5 Steering block will work on the 415 MRE?

The internal ratio is actually the same, you didn't change anything by running the fixed pulley. The internal ratio is calculated by dividing the big pulley, by the smaller one, in this case 35/16 = 2.187

Also you can make that internal ratio change on the MSX, just run the new alternated pulleys that are for the MRE. It fits, just set the bearing holders to make the belt as loose as it can be.

Lightbulb RC Hard Turnbuckle Shaft Set - DF-03 3x42mm Item #53942

Is this set of HARD turnbuckle set for the DF-03 just like titanium or black steel w/ the blue alum collars? Thinking of getting this instead of the 3x42mm Ti turnbuckles (which are hard to find aside from what Lungsford has avail & 3Racing - which are out of stock on their website).

Was thinking of making an airduct myself w/ lexan (somebody has done it, I think a few pages back) but held off. I'll just wait for alum airduct instead & also thinking of installing/changing my Spektrum RX to the Micro version (which even has a smaller footprint than my ESC). Might as well find someone who carries the Titanium turnbuckets for the steering arms while I wait for the release of the airduct.

I've done a lexan airduct...But would want the alu one. In terms of strength "Aluminium VS Lexan", this is a no brainer.Wouldn't it to come a part in a hard crash sending my expensive ESC dragging on the tarmac.

Here are a couple of more pics of the MSXX.

I noticed that it will sell for ~40000 yen in Japan which is around 6000 yen lower than the MRE.

I personally like the look of the new top deck. It gives the car a little extra character. And look how far the cut-out goes back on it...looks like lots of flex.

Can someone verify if the MSXX lower deck is the same as MRE? The bumper mount is new so I want to know if it uses the same lower deck. I was about to order a new MRE lower deck but when I heard about the MSXX, I need to know if I should order one now.

See for yourself : save the pictures, edit them in photoshop, do a vertical flip. You now see the bottom of the car.

no it is for the standard suspension,,,,you don't want to use aluminum parts they just bend or the ball studs sheer off,,,believe me i've been there

Not very sure about whether the MSXX chassis is machined differently from the MRE. But quite sure that the quality of the MRE grahite weaving is better than the MSXX chassis.
