The tyre thing... yeah it happens. It does seem to be worse on the new soft CS/RP wheel, although I did also get it on the old style. best thing to do is as you say, shave it off the arm... I'm pretty sure Tamiya know about this as well, as the new short arms don't have that bit of plastic on them.

Anyone wanna buy my 415? Its first generation i believe. I havent ran it much. One race day at SoCal, all weekend at 2006 Tamiya Nationals (i won the B-main), and a couple times on carpet. Only thing it needs is the front belt (i knicked it with the scissors cutting a zip-tie and it broke on the next run - DOH! ), otherwise it is in excellent condition. Ive been my xray T2 mostly. Any takers?? If ya are message me with a private massage.

Another one...The blades on the cvd's...do we not use them in the front?They don't fit so it seems so,just want to be sure I don't have anything misbuilt.Otherwise...awesome kit.Everything else is going great.Mario

nope, the blades arent used in the delrin outdrives on the spool...
i was gonna machine the oneway outdrives to use them, but havent yet. so far they are only used in the alloy diffs, either front or rear.

One final Q
Are my shocks too short?At full extension the arms are just a hair,just a hair,below level.That's downward from the chassis to the outside of the arm.Should'nt the outside edge fall a bit further than essentially level?Mario.

I find you need to unwind the shock bottoms a bit to get good droop. I find setting the shocks to 62.5mm or 63mm is a good start (measured from the top of the shock cap, to the bottom of the end joint).
And don't worry, it doesn't affect the strength of the shock bottoms.

Excellent Good Luck... you'll find the car has LOADS more steering than your TC4
What is the beneifit of the centre post mentioned?
Also when I put the kit together last night as per the instructions the screws that hold the steering assembly together (hold the bearings etc in place) will not pass under the front bulkheads They hit the bulkheads and thus no steering. I have had to raise the front bulkheads 1mm with a shim or two just to get enough clearance for the steering assembly to work.
Anyone have a simlar problem or a solution?

MSX RE Help
I'm not familar with spool diff. as in what effect it has on steering. I can't get another RE rear diff pully to run a diff in the front but I want to run this car. The local track runs 19t rubber tire on carpet. I'm not sure what to expect if i run a spool in the front.
