E4$$$ very nice.. is this a FS with tub chassis? or a build from the JS version? How is the tub chassis compared to the carbon ones?

Team Magic sucks after they broke the contract with Barry Baker.

Nice, but for the cost of all those hop ups, why not just get a E4RS?

Do get the thing wrong if you don't know the detail.

I knew Bary Baker and Team Magic and I also talked to them about this. They have no contract actually..... of course Barry has his reason for he leaving Team Magic and I didn't ask so detail.

However nobody sucks........ Barry is a very good racer and TM cars are very good.

Tub chassis is good for parking lot racing, very robust and maintenance is much cheaper...... and you don't have to worry a lot of "signatures" will be developed as on carbon chassis bottom.

What parts are required to use the tube chassis? I might convert my FS if the cost of the conversion is cheaper than repacing the carbon chassis.

Put your FS into a JS tub and you'll be there. You'll need the front, main and middle chassis. You can use your FS rear arms, but I'd switch to the standard E4 arms. The JS tub is only $25.00, the front and rear chassis are about $6.00 each, standard arms are $13.00 and you'll need the top cross member/battery hold down assembly. I don't have the price of the battery retainer because my son hasn't broken that... yet. Everything else will bolt right in.

That car is clean, that would be ideal for parking lot racing. How much flex does the tub chassis have?

Just a little from what I've found. That tub is still fairly stiff and it takes a pounding. I'm upgrading one of my JSs with carbon shock towers and a front one way, but I haven't swapped in any more aluminum goodies like Blee has.

It's hard to tell how flex or how stiff..... because everyone has different definition of flex and stiff. And original E4JS is a little bit soft for me since F/R bulkhead are plastic.

However, I knew this setup is good for parking lot racing because I have tried my friend one....... and this is the reason I build mine.
