Are there any tracks closer to Monterey than Speedworld? I'm planning on entering the Reedy, but I've raced maybe 3 times in all of 2008 and want to get some practice in before the race. I've heard about NorCal which is supposed to be closer, but I can't seem to find out when they race.

Congratulations to EJ Evans and Kevin Jelich for their wins at the Reedy 2009 Warm Up race at Speedworld Raceway yesterday, driving the new TOP Racing Photon.
EJ tq'd in the third round and dominated the 13.5 class, setting and re-setting the track record.
Kevin drove a car he had never run to 4th qualifier in Modified, and took the lead early in the race, cruising to the finish unchallenged.

at Marin on the 19th
Norcal on the 26th
Rccar the 1st Sunday of May
back to Norcal 2nd Sunday
so you have a shot of making 4 races before the Reedy Race
Plus Billy in Roseville will have a few more races (I sure Scotty B will post up race dates )
