....along with these two posts, I'm glad I'm over 500 miles away.

Aaron, when I met you and Billy last year you guys were very polite but I can't stop remembering that post of yours whenever I see your name here on the forums.

Billy, you just go along and take it all in stride! You guys are awesome. Can't wait for this year's race.

Hello to all racers,
SpeedWorld Hobbies will be hosting a 2 race REEDY race Series Championship. The classes are 13.5 and Modified only, we will run other classes on these scheduled race day. There must be a minimum of 10 cars entered in each class on each schedule race day for there to be a winner..
There is a points system that will be used that can be found at our SpeedWorld web-site.

The dates of the races are March 28 and April 18. This will give each participant time to schedule to race those dates.
*

The winner of the REEDY Points Championships in each class SpeedWorld will pay of the Reedy race class entry fee and you will receive Free lunch on Saturday and Sunday of the Reedy race. All racers that participate and sign up for the 2 race REEDY Series Championship, that will be the class that SpeedWorld will pay for ONLY for the REEDY race.
This will prevent sand bagging in the 13.5 class.

I hope you come an participate in our two race fun events.

Thank you
Billy Bowerman

All my friends in So-Cal, I know your far away and hard to come to SWR, so since I having a two race series race mentioned in the post before this one and I feel you guys are awesome and feel you deserve the same treatment as all our Nor-Cal racers. I will talk to Steve at RoadRunners and see if he would like to do the same prize for the winner in each class for you guys. I have talked to Steve about RoadRunners mock up REEDY warm up race and he is really nice and easy going guy it seems and loves the hobby. So I am sure Steve will let you guys know want is going on. I feel that this will help support RoadRunners club. The facility looks awesome and I can not wait to race there.

Thanks for the support
Billy

Any sort of inkling on tires yet...?

I've heard rumblings of three options:

1.) "Speedrex" speedmind/sorex 36 from last year.
2.) Jaco Blue/Green
3.) Speedworld Custom ....?

Actually I won't the state championships are the weekend before on May 17th. ....but I would need a rent-a-everything, I have absolutley 0 r/c equpment at all anymore. Plus I haven't touched an RC car in over a year, it would be like watching Cop (just kidding Rich, I shouldn't have smack talked you till after the deat ride, I can see it now ...somehow the cabin up in Markleeville is going to become unavailable that weekend ).

The track is always prepped on weekends, but keep in mind SWR does not in generally spray unless it's a special race. We do not have a traction problem.

What we have learned over many years is the track lap time are 3 to 4 tens slower, but the track stay very consistent all day from morning to end of the race day and doesn’t get slippery like soda pop in the middle of the day. It also gives racers more chances to take the TQ away from another driver at any time and teaches all racer to learn to set up there cars and get faster.

Thanks Billy
