WOW! even the E10 has half decent electronics. (I'm using the ESC in my TA05 lol)

I did something similar in Nitro. When all the TC guys started jumping on the Serpents and Mugens (this was early in the TC days) I killed them all with a POS Neo. They all claimed I was faster because the Neo was lighter so when they all got OFNA's to try to match my super lightweight (but junk) Neo, I picked up the super heavy Serpent and went even faster. Man one guy in particular hated me for a while after that.

What are those cars where you buy a magazine and get a piece of the car? They're about as bad as they get yet end up costing a small fortune as each magazine costs about $15, 20 magazies later you're nearly there.

I once raced a Nikko F1 against a bunch of F201s...that was pretty interesting.

It was the saddest thing I've seen in awhile. The car was so underpowered that even the slowest driver (Me) where laping him in the double digits. After the first heat we were trying to help him get more speed out of his car. I gave him a bigger pinion, in hopes that it would help. But I'm afraide it was too much for the poor little car, and it died after 4 or 5 laps around the track.

They were sold by deagostini and it ended up being $1299 bux or thereabouts for the worst POS TC you ever ran.
And too bad if the distributor sold out before you got an issue..................

Hey Blackheart - why don't you just run your X-ray? - that is the biggest $hi#box I've ever seen on the track anywhere!
It will cost you nothing.....

Go find an old Traxxas 4TEC and try and win with that. THAT would impress me.

Forgot about that one. That would be a good choice too.

we wanted to stock with a shaft driven, due to the fact every regular racer who has top gear races belt drive. we knew there was that car as well, we have a mate who is currently racing with that car anyway.

I cant seem to find the thread anymore but a while ago rip off xray t2's popped up on ebay featuring plastic bulkheads and faux CF upper and lower decks. I'd love to see one of those raced

I'd vote for the TT-01 or maybe the older TL-01. Racing and beating someone with a brick like the TL-01 would certainly prove your point.

Or maybe an HPI Sprint 2?

There probably is a limit here somewhere that going too low will make a big difference though. The TL01/TT01/TB02 are all uber limited when it comes to gearing choices. Maybe the 4-Tec/Sprint2/XXX-S RTR would be good choices here?
