Wired up my T3'12 tonight with a full-size servo. I know I should put a short black wire on that servo, I do, but I'm just so scared I'll damage it. I love that thing.

She's a beauty. hit those wires with a black sharpie marker, you'll be surprised how good it turns out. I do it, usually darn happy with the results.

what would you guys say is a good AWG (gauge) for motor wires and battery wires? I have some 16awe silicon wire that I am thinking of using for my motor to esc.

for 12th scale 16awg is fine up to a 13.5 motor, every thing else including all touring 13awg would be better suited

in 1/12, even back in the days of NiMH and brushed motors, all you ever ran was a 16awg wire with the super thin sheathing. Its plenty. Mod guys running 4 turn motors run the 16 gauge.
