1st try
Hello everybody,
as i´m completely new to rc this is my first post
Thought i´d share some pics of my first attempt in electronics installation.
I had a little help from a buddy to be honest.
It´s still not perfect as some others here, but for now i´m ok with it
So this is my Xray T4.
Suggestions and comments are welcome
Anybody knows where i can get orange wires that match the anodized orange of the car in Europe?
Regards from Germany

Wow, I thought my wiring was decent...until I found this thread.
Maybe I could get some advice on my CRC Xti?
I want to shorten the servo and ESC leads to the receiver, maybe twist them? What about the sensor wire and motor leads, sleeve them? I'm using 16AWG to the motor but it looks big compared to some of the stuff some of you are using. Can I go smaller or is that just for pics? The motor is a 13.5 Reedy.

#1 smaller wire. black blends in better. 18 guage is great for stock classes for mod run 14
i take my servo wire out of the connector (carefully) and shorten the wire there by soldering the shortened wire to the end. and then re-installing it into the connector.
Try to run the motor wires beside your battery down low and loop them up to the top of the rear pod just under the damper tubes. And for the cap pack just switch over to the single (like the tekin).

Hell, my wiring jobs are consistently very clean for where I race but some of these make me look like a complete hack because I don't shorten the leads or go all single color... Maybe my next toy will be a fine electronics soldering iron so I can shorten/replace leads.

two, GET THIS and then you'll need a bag of these, and now you have the tools required to shorten you servo leads WITHOUT soldering servo line on your servo or esc which requires a very gentle hand

On this point, it is depressing to see somebody trying to solder 12 gauge wire with a small tip iron, I have re-done quite a few soldering jobs so they're right.
