It's not as clean as most on this thread but I think I've finally done an install worthy of sharing.

Here's my Sakura XI, DH version.

I put a little more effort into the new Photon EX, shortened the servo wire more, both the ESC wires cut down, on the motor I reversed the plugs to face inwards (the HW motor has plugs on it facing outwards), I also redid all the esc wires, but used a red positive (I kind of like keeping the positive red), also it's a HW Justock (in much harder to find black), but I got the HW power cap for it (and it improved the brakes).

Those are foamies, real race tires. IFMAR and ROAR made a huge mistake in killing foam tire touring car, I think it should be brought back at the next IIC, just my opinion.

Foam tires - Great cornering at the expense of...added expense. Very glad they're gone. If 12th scale was able to run rubber, I'd buy one.

Please don't give them any more dangerous ideas, 1/12 is the last refuge of the speed freak, where too much power is just enough.

Ah, I'm kidding, I would just love to run foam as I am the owner of one of the short-arm foam tire monsters, a JRXS-R with all the goodies. Come to think of it, as this is the good-wiring-job thread, I should attach a few pics, but it's a bit embarassing. I had to find a way to get both cooling fans on with a brushless motor, it's not something the car was designed for, and unlike the new belts-down-the-center cars, I have nowhere to hide all of the wires. It's just an average job, and your average datable girl should not be on the walkway with supermodels

Yeah, can't use traction compounds, foam has been a working solution.

Meh, $9-$10 a pair, 4-6 meets from a set, only need truing if you fail to rotate side to side, or don't run a harder shore in the back, and even then my own truer is usually available to anyone who needs it on race night.
