Well there are a couple of ways to make drift tires. It all really depends on your motor/esc and gearing. For some people running not so hot brushed motors just wrapping tires in tape will work. Since I run a 4.0 brushless motor I use nitro drift tires. PVC/ABS works well too. But that depends on the surface you will be driving on. Tennis courts work amazingly with pvc tires supposedly. What all are you running?

P.S. - Yokomo MR4TC SD SSG is the most amazing car in the world! I love mine. Run it all the time.

try ABS, PVC, or HDPE pipes.

it will work indoors, on carpet. Ourdoors, the tape will get shredded up very quickly.

It will work. But you have to wrap a good amount on the tires and make it tight. And they wont last too long. Thats the only real problem. It worked great for me but only for a matter of like 3 minutes. On a smaller motor it should last longer. Best thing with that motor would be ABS piping.

Tamiya rims fit perfectly inside 2" pvc pipe, just make a nice straight cut as wide as the rim, push the rim into the pipe, add a little glue and your set, best drifting tire for 27t motors

I agree with Ventura DC, cheap and easy that way. If you want a touch more grip, use ABS pipe, which is black.
