Troy: Maybe, but TC3s were pretty prolific. Baker could have taken the Mod Sedan class easily, he just had a poor last main. Timmy Heiser would have won stock driving just about anything.

Scotty visits the site occasionally. His user ID is trackside.

futureal: I agree that Barry had a good chance to win. On the other hand, I remember when some people(many here on this board) used to say that the TC3 was THE only choice for stock class on carpet.

So I agree with TSR6 that it is a interesting tidbit that not one TC3 came home victorious. Especially in stock.

dont think it matters what car the guys were driving....timmys misson was hooked, and yes he would have won driving a hpi.....pro mod was wide open, any one of 3 or 4 could have won....and pro stock paul can just plain drive a stock car.....belt, shaft take our pick...

Baker could have won everything but he tends to step on himself at least 2 times a race.

Associated wasn't represented like Losi or Schumacher. The top dogs will always be in the front. Doesn't matter what they run. They have voltage no others have and new tires every run.

They also have so many laps that's why they are the best.

Oh yea, the tire thing.

Seems like every time I walked by, Kinwald was mounting a new set of tires. In fact, he was mounting a set during the trophy ceremony. heh

Must be nice to have an infinite supply of free tires.

Sounds like that kid Timmy was really hooked. I just hope he sticks with Schumacher.

Hey Futureal: Did you happen to notice anyone their using one of the smaller comany cars. I saw the Xpress over in the event coverage section. Any others? Corally, Xray, Atlas, RC Lab, etc.

I did not see any Corally, Atlas or RC Lab cars at all.

Two guys from TCHR in Minnesota (JeffC, a moderator here, is one of them) ran the X-Ray in the stock class. I think Jeff made the B in Stock with it.

There were a few guys running the Xpress. Tosolini was, as far as I could tell, the ONLY guy at the entire race with a Yokomo. I think I saw one other floating around the pits but I don't think it was being raced.

It really was a TC3/XXX-S show -- no surprise there. A lot of locals at Trackside race the Mission so Schumacher was also well-represented.

There were 3 of us from TCHR in Minnesota running XRays. Dan Olivarez (sp?) won the Stock B main with his, I was 9th in the B with mine, and Jason Klein was in the C main with his (forgot where he finished). Also, Ryan Van Horn from MN was in the Pro Stock B main with his Schumacher Axis. At my track, there's usually 10 or so XRays on any night.
