Battery shopping for 17.5 touring
we run 17.5 stock touring outdoors and im shopping around for a pair of new batteries. wondering if its worth it to invest in higher C ratings to keep them from puffing or if stock draws enough current to worry about it.
i was running a venom 20c 5000mah that had lots of punch. noticeably more than an older 6000mah maxamp. both batteries were used, but is it worth it to look at 40-60c batteries and pay in most cases twice the price?
running a tekin 17.5 and tekin rs, futaba fasst and savox 1257tg. fans on the motor and rx cap.

In general the higher capacity and C rate batteries will produce a higher average voltage regardless of what motor your running.
Look at ProMatch he probably has the least expensive pro quality battery (6000mah 60C) available today.
RevTech\Trinity is probably the hottest name in RC currently and has outstanding batteries and motors. If you want to go faster drop the Tekin motor and get a D3 or Revtech.
