what is this...help!!!!!
got this chassis from a friend, with some wheels. i would like to build it just for fun. the problem im having is that i do not know what kind of car it is. the biggest problem is that i do not know where or how the steering servo should be mounted. ive been racking my brain and cant seem to figure this out. please click on the links to look at the pics and see if you can maybe i.d. this car. if you know of a link for the manual that would be awsome. anything at this point would be a help.

If I had to guess the servo goes on the right front corner of the chassis, and maybe the bellcranks are on the wrong side of the car which that could be giving you issues.
i don't have a clue as to what the car is, but you should really clean the dirt off that car, as sometimes there might be a logo as to what the car is or who made it (then agan maybe not), but cleaning it up would be nice.

+1 for that.
On the right front of the chassis there's two slots, this is where the servo should mount to. Then you need to take the steering bellcranks off, and swap them over (The one on the left needs to go on the right post, and vice versa). Have it so the one with the servo saver attachment (the L shaped one) is pointing out of the car. The linkage should then clear the front belt fine.
I also noticed, doesn't look like you have a rear belt on there...
