why is a red wire soldered to the b post along with the yellow wire?

Wow - well spotted, the picture does make it look very much like that is the case. It's just the battery wire, if you check the last pic you can see that it is being routed under the top deck towards the battery tray.

Yup, i can see how mxzhonkey thought that was the case, now that i know it all works i'll sort the jungle wiring out, i've lost a stick pack in there somewhere lol.

Dealt with Glenn as well before, definitely a great asset to Horizon! More companies need people like Glenn.
