speed from stockers
hey everyone,
i have a big race meeting coming up, and i was wondering how to get that little bit extra speed and power out of my stockers
i have:
1x p2k2
2x GM3
3x monster pro ( one of them is a fantom limited)
1x integy matrix torque version
1x integy matrix high rpm version ( pretty much a gm3)
1x MVP matrix
i will be mostly using the high rpm motors, but i was after some info on how to get more speed n power out of al of em
i will be placing an order soon for some brushes and other motor things like oils and comm drops and all the rest, i was wondering if you could give me some combinations of brushes and the lot to get a little more performance out of my motors, any help would be great
thanx

For brushes I use the Trinity #4505's. (cross cut high silver) The #4499's are also fine. With most of the motors the purple (pos.) and red (neg.) or the red (pos.) and green (neg.) springcombination works perfectly.
Furthermore cut your comm, put new brushes on and make sure they are seated well! (run the motor for 300 secs at 2 or 3V)
You can also use comm drops. I personally always use Zubak's SpeedJuice. (www.speedjuice.com) Tribotech Powermatrix also seems to be a good choice.
Last but not least; gear your motor the right way. Make sure it doesn't get too hot.

For a torque Motor, Red/Green Springs. Rpm Motor, Red/Red Springs. Save the Purple Springs for 19T.

On the P2K2 try a Green Putnam on the positive side and a Blue Putnam on the negative.
Popsracer's spings are bang on.

Hi!
Does Putnam offer a stand-up brush that works with a high rpm 27T stocker?
Thanks,
ingo

IH - If not, you could just re-serrate them to stand-ups.
