I appreciate your input on finding a ESC
But I am not supporting China. I want to Support our jobs and country not the copy cats that rob our businesses.
Our economy has become so low because jobs are sent overseas and products are copied by china, japan, taiwan etc. and because they are cheaper than US made they are bought which puts our Founding company out of business.
USA Jobs
Oct 2008 1.2 Million unemployed
240,000 laid off in October
Dec 12th the Labor Department reported that 533,000 jobs were lost in November, which puts the year-to-date layoff total at a whopping 1.9 million.

I would recommend the Mamba monster esc. Just make sure you get the V3.
Also, people using the fiago motors in electic 8th scale buggy conversions are always overheating them and they like to literally fall apart.
If you want 50 mph, a high quality motor is a must such as the Neu motors or even the new *neu clones* coming from castle creations this month. On a budget, many also have great success with Medusa motors.
