I have to agree with everyone else, this ESC is powerful. With the updated software and watching drew's car, this speedo DID NOT lack top end and infield punch. Using the USB and computer software to dial in frequencies and timing made it super easy to tune it to the track. Robert and the KO staff really know how to make a great product and support racers of all levels.

Ya, my bad if it was confusing. It looked like he had two gears, one for the straight and another for the infield.

mr. losi- the 1.0 will be upgradeable to the 1.5 for $20.00. This includes shipping back to you.
The difference between the two is that the 1.5v has the ability to adjust the drag brake from 0FF-10%-20%-30%-40% through the switch without the use of a PC. The initial 5 models will also be different and we will be posting them shortly.
A good starting point for 17.5/13.5 would be model 2 in the 1.5v. This is what we did with Drew Ellis and Craig Xavier for touring cars.
Congratz to Drew Ellis and Josh Cyrul for their TQ's and wins and Ralph Burch and Craig Xavier for making the mains with the BMC. They proved that the VFS-1 BMC is no slouch.

what the heck? I bought the most expensive ESC made, waited for the programmer, Finally found a heatsink/fan combo, and then a new one comes out so I have to pay more money to upgrade it? Holy crap this thing is getting expensive!
