Ko BMC Speedo

Does anyone know where to get an after market USB cable for the BMC speedo for less than $20? The KO USB cable is over $60, which is overpriced in my opinion.

I was wondering if anyone has found the brakes to be inadequate for 10.5 carpet rubber TC. Its better than the RS Pro but not by much

what do you have your brake Khz at ? What Version firmware speedy ?
I have both the RS and VFS1.5 and its like comparing apples to organges - The brakes are awesome on this speedy once you drop them down.

Three Tenths....
Proof is in the pudding right?
Last saturday at Tamiya... i was doing some testing. Decided to play around with the throttle profile.
LO AND BEHOLD! A few minor tweaks..and my fastest lap time went down by 0.3 of a second!
it's amazing the versatility and flexibility to customize the BMC to my own personal "feel". motor was still not geared right and was coming off at 120 deg F. with the track temp at 128deg F.

Auto brake is zero. If I use more then the brakes disappear altogether. At high speed with timing 6 no brakes just like the Tekin. Guess it can't deal with the Novak. Shame as it has the best power delivery of the lot, you can tune the feel precisely to your needs which is quite brilliant.

Hey guys. I have the option of pickin up the V 1.0 of this speedo.
My question is this will this speedo work great for 1cell lipo in 12 scale 17.5, I'm sorta new to brushless. took the last season off and coming back this fall. I've used Ko's esc before and they work great.
I will be mainly using this for 17.5 and maybe 13.5./10.5 in 12 scale single cell lipo class.
Oh i also hear there a v1.5 out now too. is there a big difference and can you send it in to get upgraded. But is the upgrade worth it for a guy just running 17.5 stock.
Cheers

Tamiya TCS Nationals....
great support from Robert from Ko Propo USA once again.
i just came back from the Tamiya TCS Nationals.... i drove poorly (set up sucked) in qualifying and ended up 8th on the grid. finished 9th in A1 (due to some unsportsman-like driving) but finish 2nd in A2 due to an amazing start. And finished 2nd in A3 due to another amazing start when i lit up the tires at the tone and sling shot past cars that fell asleep.
the BMC kept my temps below 160... motor was strong the entire 4 days (ambient temp was over 100 deg F all four days). i was never motored down the straight, in fact, race announcer Fred Medel even mentioned my car was hitting a second gear down the straight during one of my qualifying runs.
the esc is awesome.
