The easiest way to tell if your GTB has lipo capability is to do this:
Take your GTB out of your car...
turn it upside down so that you can see the components through the bottom of the case
Locate the large square component in the corner of the ESC...
Rotate the ESC so that this component is in the bottom left-hand corner of the ESC from your perspective.
Look over to the right and you should see a series of gold plated empty holes
If your ESC only has 5 holes, this is the older non-lipo layout.
If your ESC has 6 holes, this is a newer GTB that is lipo capable.
Note: If you have a 4 cell GTB with the 6 holes even though the boards are lipo capable, the software should not allow for it... being as that the ESC was designed for use with 4 cells there is no need for it to run with 2S/6cell
