Here is pics of my pro 2 the 122spur and 37pinion makes the motor lower then the lower chassis, what gearing do you reccomemnd for 1. stock motors and 2. the motor i am running (chameleon can/endbell with 18t armarture)

What do you mean "does pro 2 still wins races?"

PRO 2 is still very competitive car...

If the driver is good, it can win the races.
It's much like the 414MII and other 2 belt drivers out there and I think there is no real reason to dump such a good car like this just so you can get the newest "best" cars out there.

I did not mean it in a bad way. The Pro2 is getting outdated that is all. I was actually looking for some advice from you as I am just getting back into R/C.

Personally, I think this is a great car for the budget racers.

the pro2 came out in 1999(i think), and they are soon onto the pro4, when the TC3 has been driving since 1996(first prototypes), and they have only made small adjustments to the original design.

i am not bagging on HPI, they are a great company, accually my first car was a HPI RS4 Sport2(not the pro, but still a great car), also, any car will be great if the right drivers drive them

and yes, the pro 2 is still very competitive in racing

It IS a competitive car still.

In its day it was at least keeping up with the TC3 as far as handling and performance. Therefore it should still be. There is one at my track and he does fine. they are stong buyt parts availability is a problem as the kit is no longer produced.

Actually, pro 2 parts are still produced.
HPI still has Sport 2 in their line... Pro 2 stock parts are hop ups for sport 2!

i think the car is still really competitive.

when i had the car wow it was so fast, any way i would set it up it would go fast.

i cant wait for the pro 4 to come out.

the pro2 was my first 4wd race car. it's a tank i hope HPI releases another pro2 (in the same way that sneaker companies re-issue their classics) the only reason i sold mine is that our LHS doesnt carry parts anymore although i havent tried 414 parts, they have almost identical drivetrains - i think they even have the same gear ratio

cole tickle, i don't really see the point of the handling kit. it just lowers your lowerdeck, so mine as just set the droop lower.

By adding the handling kit, the rear roll center is lowered, thus gaining more grip.

But I would like to hear in what way it differs fromt changing the camber links?
