The bearings in my T2 have gotten a gritty feel. i am going to end up replacing them but is there anything i can do to these ones to use them as a backup set. Is there a bearing cleaning tool. I think integy made a vibrating one but im no sure.

Try the rpm tool first. But it does not make miracles. If your bearings are too dirty, you have to take the shields off and clean it with the rpm tool. Be careful when moving off the plastic shields. It is easy to damage them.
